Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
HELMD wants everyone to be able to use helmd.com, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. We work to make every page usable in these ways, and we take reports of problems seriously.
Our standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our standard. We are working toward full conformance and test new pages against it.
What we do
- Test pages with automated accessibility checks and by keyboard alone, and fix what we find.
- Keep text and controls at or above the WCAG minimum contrast ratios.
- Structure pages with headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Support browser zoom up to 200% and honor the reduced-motion setting on your device or browser.
Third-party services
Some parts of the HELMD experience run on services we do not build ourselves, including the online medical visit and checkout (secure.helmd.com), the patient login (my.helmd.com), and embedded review and verification badges. We are working with those providers on the accessibility of their products, but we cannot guarantee it.
Need help or found a problem?
If any part of helmd.com is hard to use, or you cannot complete an order or a consultation, email support@helmd.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page and what happened. We will help you finish what you were doing another way, and we will work on a fix.
